Responsibilities :

1. Monitor network traffic and detect DDoS attack patterns at both Layer 3 and Layer 7.

2. Mitigate volumetric attacks such as TCP SYN floods, UDP floods, and amplification attacks.

3. Configure and optimize Akamai WAF to prevent OWASP Top 10 threats and other vulnerabilities.

4. Implement Akamai Guardicore Micro segmentation for Zero Trust Security.

5. Apply rate limiting, filtering, and access control mechanisms to prevent malicious traffic.

6. Collaborate with ISPs and stakeholders to mitigate large-scale cyber threats.

7. Conduct post-attack forensic investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and more.

8. ZTNA, SWG, CASB, SSE skills (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Zscaler).
