About the Role

We’re expanding our global engineering team and seeking an experienced PHP Developer in India to help us develop robust back-end systems and web applications for our portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using PHP

Build RESTful APIs and integrate with external services

Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers

Optimize database queries and application performance

Write clean, well-documented, and testable code

Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and technical planning

Qualifications

3+ years of professional PHP development experience

Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter preferred)

Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL databases and query optimization

Familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth, and third-party integrations

Proficiency with Git / version control

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Required Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)

Familiarity with Docker or containerization

Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular)

Agile / Scrum experience

Pay range and compensation package

U.S.-competitive salary : $70,000 – $100,000 USD per year (based on experience)

Fully remote role from India
