In this role, you will drive the quality of world class and visionary demos showcasing capabilities for prospective customers and partners by applying modern and cutting-edge technologies.

You'll be the guardian of demo excellence, ensuring that every Sales Consultant has access to flawless, compelling demonstrations that showcase Pega's capabilities.

Your typical day might involve automating test scenarios using Selenium and Playwright, collaborating with demo architects to validate new configurations, or leveraging AI-powered testing practices to enhance our quality processes.

What You'll Do At Pega :

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and functional testing strategies for our demo environments, ensuring every user interaction, workflow, and integration perform flawlessly.
  • Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide early feedback on quality and testability.
  • Create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases that cover both functional requirements and business use cases across various industry domains.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team consisting of Business Architect, Leads, Solution consultants, Developers and Product with mindful use of software development patterns and practices.
  • Implement automation using Selenium and Playwright to build and maintain robust test suites that can validate complex demo scenarios across multiple platforms and configurations.
  • Working with Pega's AI capabilities to ensure demos effectively showcase these advanced features to clients.
  • Participate in demo reviews, provide quality feedback on new assets, and help troubleshoot issues that arise in live client demonstrations.
  • Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and development with adaptation to changes.
  • Should be able to mentor new team members or interns as part of onboarding.
  • Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in software testing.

Who You Are :

  • A result-oriented individual, driven with passion and ability to implement Quality best practices and lead quality initiatives.
  • 4-6 years of overall experience with Strong expertise in functional testing and test automation.
  • Proficiency with test automation tools like Selenium or Playwright frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead quality initiatives and contribute to strategic decisions.
  • Working experience with at least one major domain (HC / FS / Insurance / Comms), Preferred Pega platform or Customer Service or 1 : 1 Customer Engagement.
  • Demonstrates customer empathy, willing to adopt best practices ensuring delivered work exceeds customer ever changing demands.
  • Excited about leveraging AI and emerging technologies for testing enhancement.
  • Team player with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Worked in Agile Methodology and tools.
  • Forward-thinking approach to quality assurance challenges.

    • What You've Accomplished :

  • Strong foundation in quality assurance with experience in implementation of test automation frameworks and working with modern testing tools and methodologies.
  • Thorough understanding of applications architecture you have previously worked on.
  • Successfully designed and executed comprehensive test plans for complex software systems, resulting in significant reduction of critical defects in production releases.
  • Software test experience with Java, Selenium, TestNG, Playwright, or other technologies.
  • Exposure to integration technologies like XML, JSON, REST, SOAP.
  • Experience testing RESTful / SOAP APIs.
  • Led quality initiatives and process improvements that enhanced team efficiency and product reliability.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging and reverse-engineering skills.
  • Implemented and advocated for best practices in software testing, automation, and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD).
  • Experience in testing mobile applications, web applications, UI, applets, client / server, portals will be added advantange.
  • Experience with modern scripting languages (Typescript, Shell) will be an added advantage.
