Oracle CPQ Cloud - Technical

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced CPQ professional to lead design, configuration and implementation of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions. You will take ownership of end‑to‑end CPQ lifecycle (configure → price → quote), partner with business stakeholders, define solution architecture, lead development / configuration, integrate with other systems and ensure high quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end CPQ implementations using Oracle CPQ Cloud (formerly BigMachines) — from requirement gathering, solution design, prototyping, configuration, integrations, test, deployment & support. (See similar responsibilities in prior JDs)
• Define architecture and roadmap for CPQ implementations; recommend best‑practices, standardization & reuse.
• Configure CPQ modules : product configuration (BOMs, attributes, rules), pricing & discounting, quoting, document generation (Document Designer / Doc Engine), approval workflows, commerce / layouts.
• Develop and maintain integrations between CPQ and external systems (CRM like Salesforce / Oracle CX, ERP, order management), using web services (SOAP / REST), XML / XSLT, middleware as required.
• Write advanced logic / customization in CPQ using BML (Big Machines Markup Language), BMQL, JavaScript / CSS / HTML for UI / layout customizations.
• Manage configuration data : data tables, bulk uploads / data migration, user & group management, code migration, version control.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team, perform code / config reviews, ensure compliance with design standards and performance best‑practices.
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, QA teams and stakeholders to ensure delivery within timelines, quality and budget.
• Document solution architecture, technical specifications, configuration documents, and participate in change management, release planning.
• Stay up to date with CPQ product capabilities, new features, releases and help shape internal best‑practice standards.
