SAP Test Manager Lead – "S / 4HANA"

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished

SAP Test Manager Lead

to drive the testing strategy and execution for a

SAP S / 4HANA Greenfield implementation

within a

validated (GxP-compliant) environment . The ideal candidate will lead all testing workstreams, manage multiple stakeholder groups, and coordinate with the

System Integrator (SI)

to ensure the successful delivery of a validated solution aligned with business and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and own the

end-to-end test strategy, plan, and governance framework

for the S / 4HANA program.

Manage all

testing phases

— unit, integration, UAT, regression, performance, and validation testing.

Lead and coordinate

testing teams

(internal, external, and SI-led) across global regions.

Ensure all testing aligns with

Computer System Validation (CSV)

and

GxP

standards.

Collaborate closely with the

System Integrator (SI)

to align testing deliverables, ensure defect resolution, and maintain accountability for test outcomes.

Manage

stakeholder communications

across business, IT, quality, and regulatory functions.

Ensure

traceability of requirements, test cases, and validation documentation

per regulatory standards.

Define and monitor

testing KPIs , provide dashboards, and report test status to senior leadership.

Lead

defect triage

and ensure timely resolution of high-priority issues.

Coordinate

cutover and release testing

ensuring readiness for go-live in a validated state.

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years

in SAP testing, with at least 10

years in test management

leadership roles.

Proven experience delivering

SAP S / 4HANA Greenfield implementations .

Strong understanding of

SAP modules

(Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality).

Demonstrated experience in

validated environments

(pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or life sciences).

Excellent

stakeholder management and communication skills , including executive-level reporting.

Strong

SI management

experience — ensuring quality, accountability, and integration alignment.

Proficiency with

test management tools

(e.g., Tricentis Tosca, HP ALM, Solution Manager, Jira).

Knowledge of

GxP ,

CSV , and regulatory documentation standards.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP or ISTQB Test Manager Certification.

Experience in

Agile / hybrid delivery models

and

SAP Activate methodology .

Prior experience managing multi-vendor test delivery environments.
