We are looking for a Staff Engineer to lead the evolution of our next-generation, privacy-first advertising platform. You’ll embed machine learning and generative AI into every layer - from ad targeting, bidding, and attribution to fraud prevention and creative optimization. Your work will define speed, reliability, and innovation in a system processing millions of requests per second and billions of events daily.What You’ll DoDefine the multi-year technical roadmap, balancing innovation, revenue, and regulatory requirements.Architect low-latency, high-throughput ad-serving systems with AI at the core.Build ML pipelines for model training, deployment, and continuous learning.Collaborate with data scientists to turn prototypes into scalable production systems.Design fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable systems optimized for cost and performance.Ensure privacy-by-design across all platforms, complying with GDPR, CCPA, and ATT.Lead critical platform initiatives from concept to production, solving performance bottlenecks and raising system reliability.Mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions, and drive adoption of best practices.Who You AreProblem solver with an AI-first mindset and system-level thinking.Experienced in high-scale cloud-native architecture (GCP / AWS) and Kubernetes.Skilled in distributed data processing, streaming frameworks, and analytics systems.Comfortable delivering under tight deadlines while balancing technical excellence with business priorities.Collaborative, influential, and capable of guiding teams without relying on authority.Technical SkillsExpertise in Scala, Java, Go, Python, or C++.Experience building AI / ML-enabled systems and large-scale model deployment.Knowledge of distributed storage, analytics, and streaming ecosystems.Advocate for strong software engineering practices (CI / CD, TDD).Why This Role MattersYou will set the technical direction for multiple teams, tackling complex problems in ad tech and shaping one of the largest data platforms in the industry.
