About The Role :
We are seeking a technically-minded Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and launch of our next-generation AI and Machine Learning features.
This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data science, and engineering, translating complex technical capabilities into tangible customer value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategy & Vision : Define the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI / ML-driven products and features, aligning them with overall company goals.
- Stakeholder Management : Serve as the primary liaison between Data Science, Engineering, UX / Design, and Marketing teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.
- Feature Definition : Author clear, concise documentation, including PRDs (Product Requirement Documents), user stories, and acceptance criteria with a focus on model performance, edge cases, and user experience.
- Model Evaluation : Define and track key business and performance metrics (i.e., accuracy, precision, recall, latency, impact on conversion) to measure the success of launched models.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather deep customer insights to identify new opportunities for applying AI / ML.
Technical Skills (Must-Have) :
AI / ML Concepts : Strong working knowledge of Machine Learning concepts, modeling techniques, and the end-to-end ML lifecycle (data collection, training, deployment, monitoring).Data & Analytics : Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).Agile Methodology : Expertise in Agile / Scrum product management processes.Technical Communication : Ability to communicate technical trade-offs, model limitations, and statistical results effectively to a non-technical audience.-Tools : Familiarity with product management tools (Jira, Confluence) and data platforms (AWS Sagemaker, GCP AI Platform, Databricks).Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; MBA or Master's in a technical discipline is a plus.5+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years focusing on products heavily driven by Machine Learning or Data Science.Experience launching a model into production and managing it post-launch(ref : hirist.tech)
