Role : Liferay Developer

Position Type : Full-Time Contract (40hrs / week)

Contract Duration : Long Term

Work Schedule : 8 hours / day (Mon-Fri)

Location : Hybrid - India (3x days onsite)

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Liferay Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level web portal solutions using Liferay 7.x DXP . The role involves end-to-end portal development, integration, and support, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and customize Liferay portals, portlets, themes, and WCM features.
Configure Liferay sites, organizations, permissions, and integrations.
Implement and maintain web services, logging, analytics, and audit features.
Ensure portal performance, usability, and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot technical issues and support deployments in production and non-production environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead offshore resources as needed.

Requirements :

5+ years Java / J2EE development experience with Spring / Hibernate.

5+ years of hands-on Liferay development (Liferay 7.x DXP required).

Strong knowledge of OSGi, MVC design pattern, and enterprise system integrations.

Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript for UI development.

Experience with code management, build, and deployment tools.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Insurance industry experience is a plus.
