Director - UI / UX Design

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Development : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of UI / UX designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

• Develop and implement team processes, provide constructive feedback, and support individual growth.

Design Strategy : Define and communicate the UI / UX design vision, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.

Collaboration : Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to ensure design solutions meet business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints.

User Research & Testing : Oversee the creation and execution of user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.

Design Systems : Develop and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency across all platforms, products, and features.

Project Management : Manage design deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Innovation & Trends : Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

Stakeholder Communication : Present design concepts, prototypes, and final deliverables to key stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Experience : 8+ years of experience in UI / UX design, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.

Portfolio : Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, demonstrating expertise in user-centered design principles, interface design, and problem-solving.

Design Skills : Deep knowledge of design tools (e.g, Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping tools (e.g , InVision, Axure, etc.

User-Centered Focus :

Leadership : Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.

Education : Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
