Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Marine Calibration Technician, based in Kochi with the flexibility for some remote work. The Marine Calibration Technician will be responsible for performing calibration of equipment, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and troubleshooting instrumentation issues. The role also includes using test equipment, managing laboratory tasks, and ensuring the functionality and accuracy of instruments used in marine and offshore applications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Calibration and Instrumentation tasks
• Experience with Laboratory Skills and Test Equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
• Understanding of marine and offshore industry requirements preferred
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Technical diploma or degree in a relevant field
• Willingness to adopt a flexible work model including on-site and remote tasks
• Previous experience in the maritime sector is preffered

Key Responsibilities :

🔹 Perform calibration, testing, and maintenance of marine instruments and systems.

🔹 Coordinate effectively with suppliers and vessel customers.

🔹 Purchase and maintain calibration spares, consumables, and stock inventory.

🔹 Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely service delivery.

Personal and Portable Gas Detectors

15 PPM Monitors

Fixed Gas Detection Systems

ODME (Oil Discharge Monitoring Equipment)

VECS (Vapor Emission Control Systems)

UTI Tapes

Alcohol Testers

IG O₂ Analyzers (Inert Gas Oxygen Analyzers)

Pressure and Temperature Measuring Instruments

Job location : Kochi and willing to travel as per job requirements.
