Job descriptionEnsure secure and reliable network connectivity between plants and the RCP for uninterrupted data exchange and control. Monitor bandwidth, latency, and uptime across locations using appropriate network tools. Implement cybersecurity measures (firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection) in line with organizational norms. Maintain audit-ready logs, backup policies, and recovery plans to safeguard plant infrastructure. Define infrastructure standards (LAN / WAN, hardware configurations, access controls) for CBG plants of varying sizes. Work with the data analytics & applications development team to ensure digital tools run optimally on deployed infrastructure. Lead a team of network engineers, IT support technicians, and service providers across regions. Manage relationships with OEMs, ISPs, and IT vendors to ensure timely service and SLA adherence. Develop dashboards for real-time infrastructure health monitoring (server loads, network status, system alerts). Report KPIs related to infrastructure uptime, incident response time, and plant connectivity health. B.E. / B.Tech Hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and servers (on-prem / cloud). Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC-UA) is an advantage. Experience in infrastructure support for SCADA, IoT, and real-time monitoring systems is preferred. Excellent leadership, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Job Purpose :
To lead the architecture, deployment, and management of core digital infrastructure including networks, servers, cybersecurity, and connectivity systems across all CBG plant locations and at RCP. The role ensures reliable, secure, and scalable digital foundations that support operational applications, data flow, and remote monitoring capabilities.
