I. Provide Technical Solutions and Support for projects to ensure Business revenue targets are met, ensure zero rework, zero delays and high Customer Delight on every job.
- Lead the technical pre-sales process, from initial customer enquiry through to project handover, ensuring solutions align with customer needs and the Neptunus philosophy of optimisation.
- Manage and mentor a team of technical leads and engineers, fostering excellence and establishing efficient workflows.
- Partner with Sales to win business, acting as the technical authority to build consensus and confidence with key customer stakeholders.
- Own the quality of all technical documentation (specifications, architecture, bills of material) to enable seamless project execution by the operations team.
- Provide expert escalation support to resolve complex technical challenges during site installation and commissioning.
- Oversee and supervise parts list prepared by Tech Leads to ensure that there are no errors, redundancies, obsolete part numbers, or inadequacies for the completion of the service job
- Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure that Goods Orders are ready for delivery at a suitable time, well in advance for dry dock / overhauls that are planned by the customer.
II. Drive Continual Improvement in Delivery to reduce time by ¼ to ½ day every site compared to the Bar Chart.
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing project close-outs to refine and standardise processes, documentation, and tools.
- Create, maintain and update a repository of all learnings from sites (mistakes, near misses, customer feedback, etc)
- Be accountable for implementing corrections and corrective actions on Non Conformities, Customer Complaints and Vendor Feedback
- Champion service innovation and team capability through targeted training and the adoption of new technologies.
- Develop and maintain all standard documentation (charts, lists, scopes) to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee data analysis and customer education based on IoT / remote monitoring to enhance service value and awareness.

I. Knowledge (Functional and Non-Technical) :
- Strong Knowledge of internal combustion engine - operation, repair & maintenance, retrofits. 6-8 years of hands-on experience on medium-speed and high speed diesel engines - (M)
- Knowledge of working on computers / Excel / CRM / SAP and managing lists, and documentation.. Therefore, 2-3 years in a desk / back-office role is ideal- (M)
- Basic knowledge of automation, electrical and control systems to know how it influences engine operation - (N)
- Knowledge of propulsion systems - (N)
II. Skills (Functional and Non-Technical) :
- Good Communication in verbal and written English to be able to communicate information clearly and translate knowledge of diesel engines into a written work scope based on Customer requirements - (M)
- Attention to detail so that getting information, comparing lists, looking at manuals and translating information into a document is possible (M)
