Location : Gurgaon / Bangalore

Work Mode : Work from Home (1 day per month in office)

Contract Duration : 2 Months (Extendable based on performance and project needs)

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Linux server installation, patching, and system administration. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage production environments efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform installation, configuration, and patching of Linux servers (RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu).
  • Manage system performance, upgrades, and security updates.
  • Perform root cause analysis for system issues and ensure high availability.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support infrastructure and deployments.
  • Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting tools.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong expertise in installation, patching, upgrades, and security hardening.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, NFS, SSH, firewalls, etc.).
  • Experience with shell scripting for automation tasks.
  • Exposure to virtualization (VMware / KVM) or cloud environments (AWS / Azure) is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Start Date : Immediate / Within 1 week preferred.
  • Mode : Remote (1 day in office per month for review / meetings).
  • Office Location : Gurgaon / Bangalore.
  • Contract Type : 2 months, extendable based on project continuation and performance
