Job Summary :
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial sales, particularly in the Steel sectors. The role involves managing the entire sales cycle — from lead generation to order execution — and ensuring smooth coordination across all stages of business development and client management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and expand the customer base within the assigned region (Eastern India).
- Generate new business leads and convert them into successful sales orders.
- Manage end-to-end sales activities including technical discussions, proposal submission, negotiations, and order finalization.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers in the Steel industry.
- Coordinate internally with technical, commercial, and service teams to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth in the region.
Desired Candidate Profile :
Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or any equivalent technical qualification.MBA in Sales / Marketing will be an added advantage.10–14 years of proven experience in Industrial Product Sales, preferably dealing with high-value capital equipment & sparesStrong customer network and experience in catering to major steel plants and allied industries.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Willingness to travel extensively across Eastern India.
