Product Planning
Understand the trends prevailing in the international market and customize the same to suit the needs of the domestic marketAlign buy with the plan and drive the sales, margin and inventory for the category as per the budgetEnsure range presentation is submitted to the concerned stakeholders at defined periodDefine min max and inner / outer carton quantities and planogram the new ranges and concepts based on stock densityInitiate buying as per OTB and ensure timely delivery and availability of right stocks at the storeTimely and efficient implementation of buying and seasonal calendarEnsure on time orders, re-orders are aligned to the financial normsManage end to end process of product PO, confirmations, inspections, shipments and deliveriesPrepare FABs and training module for assigned categoryProduct Presentation
Ensure timely implementation of the planogramsCoordinate with the design team and vendors for the right packaging of the productCoordinate product availability for photo shoots, and products to be in the floor that are in catalogueProduct Performance
Track sales performance for category post launch and take required actionRegularly collect and analyze product feedback during store visits and sell through reportsConduct periodic surveys to understand customer behavior, competition mapping and arrive at strategy pricingMonitor the ageing of stock with reference to overall stock holding as per defined normsAnalyze and make recommendations for space planning to ensure the SPF and MPF for the department is in line with concept performanceWork closely with Planning and MC, VM, Designer, Graphic designer to translate category goals on the floor and for adequate stock availability on the floorRelationship management
