Job Summary

We are looking for a Architect with a strong background in hospital design and healthcare space planning or commercial projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of translating clinical requirements into efficient architectural layouts, ensuring compliance with medical, safety, and building standards. The role involves close collaboration with healthcare planners, MEP consultants, and hospital management teams to deliver innovative and sustainable healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize, plan, and design healthcare facilities including hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and specialty care units.

Develop master plans, detailed layouts, and architectural drawings in alignment with healthcare workflows and patient experience goals.

Collaborate with doctors, biomedical engineers, and hospital administrators to optimize functional zoning and space utilization.

Ensure compliance with NABH, NBC, FGI, and other applicable healthcare design standards and codes.

Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure integrated design solutions.

Review and approve construction drawings, tender documents, and site progress reports.

Conduct site visits and quality checks to ensure design intent and functional performance are achieved.

Participate in feasibility studies, project proposals, and client presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch) from a recognized institution.

4–10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare or hospital architecture.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office;

familiarity with BIM workflows preferred.

Strong understanding of healthcare operations, patient and staff flow, and hospital design principles.

Excellent visualization, communication, and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality design outcomes under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage )

Experience with NABH and JCI accreditation requirements.

Knowledge of HVAC, medical gas systems, infection control, and other healthcare engineering aspects.

Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient hospital design.

Experience in modular construction or prefabricated healthcare design will be a plus.
