Role Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable Azure DevOps solutions to streamline development and deployment workflows.
Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines using Azure Pipelines or other relevant tools.
Automate infrastructure provisioning leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
Collaborate closely with software development teams to enhance product delivery efficiency and reliability.
Monitor system performance and optimize resource usage for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
Ensure application security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Lead DevOps transformation initiatives and implement best practices across teams.
Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and mentorship to cross-functional teams.
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical bottlenecks and issues in CI / CD and infrastructure processes.
Document architecture designs, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
Stay current with new Azure technologies and DevOps advancements.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions on DevOps tools and practices.
Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, feedback, and promote collaboration.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and agile sprint activities.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering or related roles.

Proven hands-on experience with Azure DevOps services and tools.

Expertise in CI / CD tools such as Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.

Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and ARM templates.

Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles and deployment strategies, preferably in Azure.

Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.

Experience working with monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor, Grafana, or equivalent.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to work independently in a distributed or remote team environment.

Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

Software development background is an added advantage.
