The brand has expanded with multiple locations across Bangalore and Colombo, delivering a premium dining experience to its customers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef based in Bengaluru. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, plan and create menus, ensure culinary excellence, and maintain high standards of food quality and consistency. Daily responsibilities include leading and mentoring kitchen staff, managing inventory, ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance, and collaborating with management on menu innovation. The role also involves cost control, supplier coordination, and fostering a positive kitchen environment.

Operational Oversight & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee all food items produced, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand standards.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation across all kitchen areas.
  • Personally supervise cooking, thawing, and storage temperatures for all raw and cooked food.
  • Ensure timely pick-up of food orders by service staff and smooth coordination with outlet teams.
  • Plan and manage dispatch schedules from the Central Kitchen to all outlets.

Cost Control & Efficiency

  • Control overall food costs without compromising quality or standards set by management.
  • Monitor usage, consumption, spoilage, and inventory of food items under supervision.
  • Minimize food wastage at all stages of production.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and stores departments to optimize sourcing costs.
  • Drive kitchen efficiency through process improvements and recipe optimization.
  • Team Management & HR Coordination

  • Hire, train, and supervise the central kitchen brigade to ensure high performance.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and initiate performance evaluations for all subordinates.
  • Ensure team members adhere to company policies, hygiene protocols, and brand SOPs.
  • Foster a motivated and positive work environment.
  • Process Development & Compliance

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for new tasks and evolving conditions.
  • Ensure prescribed cleaning agents and methods are used to maintain top-tier cleanliness.
  • Coordinate pest control procedures and kitchen equipment maintenance with relevant teams.
  • Review outlet feedback regularly and implement corrective actions as needed.
