Hybrid Mobile Test Automation QA Engineer – Contract Work – React Native iOS Mobile Application

We're seeking a part-time, freelance QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in React Native mobile app testing, specifically on iOS platforms, to join our team. This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Our app is currently only available on the Apple App Store, so owning one or more iOS devices is required. Experience with React Native test frameworks and tools like Detox, Appium, BrowserStack, and / or AWS Device Farm is highly preferred.

Qualifications :

• Must own an iOS device (iPhone 6 or newer); owning two is a plus
• Prior experience testing React Native mobile applications
• Familiarity with automation frameworks like Detox, Appium, or WebdriverIO
• Experience using BrowserStack and / or AWS Device Farm for cross-device testing
• Proficient in writing automated test scripts and integrating them into CI / CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of regression, performance, and integration testing
• Experience working with Jira and Agile workflows
• Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with global teams
• Stable internet connection is a must
• Strong communication and documentation skills
