About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced System Integration Lead to join our dynamic ECU project team in Bangalore. As a key individual contributor, you will play a critical role in managing and driving the overall system integration process. You will collaborate closely with technical integrators and the system integration testing team to ensure smooth and efficient integration of embedded software components, particularly in automotive infotainment systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end system integration process of embedded software for automotive ECU projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, testing, and architecture to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of technical integrators and coordinate closely with the system integration testing group.
  • Drive software integration strategies, including software versioning, release management, and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Break down complex technical challenges and develop pragmatic, systematic solutions.
  • Manage integration and release schedules to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Implement and optimize CI / CD pipelines leveraging tools such as Jenkins and Zuul CI.
  • Maintain and enhance integration automation, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the SDLC and agile teams to align integration activities with overall project goals.
  • Provide expert guidance on embedded development tools and environments, including Linux, Yocto, and Android platforms.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 10 to 20 years of professional experience in embedded software integration within the automotive industry, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in infotainment systems.
  • Deep understanding of software integration methods, tools, and best practices, including software versioning, software release management, and continuous integration frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead integration teams and drive collaboration across multiple technical groups.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic yet pragmatic approach to resolving integration challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid technical background in software development, system architecture, or embedded systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux-based embedded platforms, Yocto build system, BitBake, and CMake.
  • Familiarity with Android embedded systems.
  • Expertise in CI / CD tools such as Jenkins and Zuul CI.
  • Proficient with version control and code review tools such as GIT, GitHub, and Gerrit.
  • Sound understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
