Job Summary :

Blujay Robotics is seeking a highly skilled Purchase Manager to lead procurement activities, manage vendor relationships, and optimize sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of technical specifications, manufacturing processes, and negotiation techniques. Responsibilities include developing purchasing strategies, ensuring timely procurement, maintaining cost efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance. Proficiency in MS Office and excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for optimal terms.
• Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and engineering products.
• Track inventory levels and ensure procurement is done just-in-time to optimize storage costs.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure technical compatibility of purchased items.
• Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and conditions affecting prices and availability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Prepare and manage budgets, cost forecasts, and procurement reports.
• Maintain up-to-date records of purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.
