About Us :

We're seeking an experienced Head of Design Engineering / Design Engineering Manager to lead our design team and drive innovation in product development.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage a team of design engineers to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Develop and implement design strategies, standards, and best practices
Oversee the design and development of new products and manufacturing processes
Ensure compliance with design codes, standards, and regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project objectives and timelines
Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
Mentor and develop design engineers to improve skills and knowledge
Review and approve designs, providing feedback and guidance as needed
Manage the design department budget and resources
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation

Requirements :

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, )

Proven experience in design engineering leadership, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment

Strong knowledge of design principles, codes, and standards

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills

Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
