Key Responsibilities :
Handle customer inquiries related to freight forwarding (shipping, delivery schedules, customs clearance, tracking).
Manage and resolve complaints (delays, damages, lost shipments) promptly & professionally.
Provide real-time shipment updates ensuring transparent communication.
Coordinate with operations, customs brokers, carriers, warehouse teams for smooth freight movement.
Suggest workflow improvements to boost service quality & efficiency.
Maintain accurate documentation & records in CRM / freight systems.
Gather & analyze customer feedback to improve service delivery.
Manage escalations & complex issues with timely follow-ups.
Support in administrative tasks – orders, returns, cancellations, shipment docs, databases.
Requirements :
Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics (preferred).
4+ years of customer care experience in freight forwarding / logistics / supply chain.
Strong verbal & written communication skills (US client-facing).
Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
Excellent problem-solving, multitasking & analytical skills.
Knowledge of shipping docs, customs regulations & freight operations.
Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable under pressure.
