Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior R&D Chemist to lead and strengthen our in-house R&D function. The ideal candidate will possess strong fundamentals in organic chemistry, proven hands-on experience in process development, and the ability to drive innovation, quality improvement, and new product development within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead R&D activities for dyes, dye intermediates, Pigments and speciality chemicals.
• Develop, optimise, and scale organic synthesis routes for new products.
• Conduct literature surveys, design experiments, interpret analytical data, and maintain detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with Production, QC, and Management to support plant trials and technology transfer.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of proprietary chemistry, processes, and formulations.
• Maintain proper records and summaries for each project and provide timely updates to management.
