Junior Accountant (US GAAP)

Techtinium is currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role requires a strong grasp of bookkeeping and taxation principles, with a focus on managing the financial aspects of our USA-based clients, adhering to US GAAP standards. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for tasks such as bookkeeping, tax calculations, tax filings, and reconciliations. Additionally, you will play a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements and optimisations.

Responsibilities :

Maintain the General Ledger and Books of Accounts.

Prepare Journal entries and perform reconciliations.

Manage the preparation and maintenance of books of accounts.

Create monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports and review them with the business.

Implement accounting policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws.

Assist in quarterly and annual financial audits.

Update and maintain payroll expense import sheets.

Requirements :

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Deep understanding of MS Excel, including formulas, pivots, lookups, and matrix multiplication.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

0-1 year of accounting experience.

Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Bill.com, Intacct, or Salesforce is a plus

High level of integrity, ethics, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
