Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of customized Odoo modules and applications across different business functions (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions within the Odoo framework.
  • Customize standard Odoo modules and create new modules using Python, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb.
  • Develop and integrate Odoo with third-party systems via RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Optimize database queries and Odoo performance for high-traffic environments.
  • Oversee Odoo upgrades, version migrations, and maintenance of existing systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and ensure code quality and best practices.
  • Write technical documentation, deployment guides, and user manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo issues in a timely manner, including bug fixing and support.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with business and security policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4- 7 years of experience in Odoo development, customization, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb.
  • Strong understanding of Odoo ORM, views, models, workflows, and security rules.
  • Experience with Odoo.sh, Git-based deployment, and Linux environments.
  • Hands-on experience in Odoo integrations with external systems such as payment gateways, CRMs, e-commerce platforms, etc.
  • Good understanding of various business processes (e., finance, supply chain, HR) and how they map to Odoo modules.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum development Skills :
  • Experience with Odoo Enterprise edition.
  • Exposure to front-end development (HTML / CSS, Bootstrap) for UI customizations.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Odoo certification(s) preferred
