Job description

As the Shopify eCommerce Growth Lead , youll :

Own and improve the full Shopify store experience , from homepage to checkout

Work on layout improvements, navigation structure, filters, and mobile responsiveness

Collaborate with devs to implement UI / UX updates and performance enhancements

Drive ongoing CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation)

Design and run A / B tests for product pages, cart flow, CTAs, pricing displays, etc.

Constantly analyse user behaviour using tools like Hotjar or session recordings

Plan and manage digital campaigns aligned with product launches and brand events

Work closely with email and creative teams to develop campaign calendars and content

Ensure all campaign pages are conversion-optimised and integrated across channels

Manage day-to-day coordination between cross-functional teams

Brief and align SEO consultants, email marketers, and Shopify devs around key goals

Set priorities, timelines, and performance KPIs for each area

Monitor performance metrics and provide weekly insights

Track CVR, AOV, bounce rate, customer retention, and funnel progression

Share weekly performance reports and recommendations to leadership

Collaborate with customer service & operations

Identify common support pain points (returns, delivery, FAQs) and reduce them on-site

Use customer feedback to inform UX improvements and post-purchase flow updates

Balance brand and performance

Ensure all optimisations align with Reclaim Nation’s tone, visuals, and values

Work with the creative team to maintain a premium, consistent brand experience

️ Must-Have Skills – Expanded

To succeed in this role, you must have hands-on experience and confidence in the following areas :

Shopify Store Management

You’ve directly managed a Shopify store (not just cataloguing)

Comfortable editing themes, managing apps, working with devs on frontend / backend tasks

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)

Proven track record improving site conversion through layout testing, copy, pricing display, or checkout optimisation

Familiar with tools like Google Optimize, Convert, or equivalent A / B testing platforms

User Experience & Customer Journey Optimisation

You can map out and improve user journeys using analytics and feedback

You understand friction points, and how to fix them without sacrificing design

Data & Analytics Fluency

Comfortable pulling reports and making decisions based on GA4, Looker Studio, or similar

Ability to analyse AOV, bounce rate, traffic quality, and conversion funnels

Project Management Across Teams

Skilled at writing clear briefs and managing freelancers or in-house teams

Able to juggle multiple initiatives while keeping delivery on track

Email Marketing Strategy (not execution)

Able to brief email flows and campaigns (welcome series, cart recovery, promos)

You understand the role of lifecycle marketing and customer retention

Digital Campaign Experience

You’ve helped plan and execute site-wide promotions, sales events, or new product drops

Understand how to prep landing pages, track results, and follow up with performance tweaks

Commercial Mindset

You’re always thinking : “How does this change impact revenue, not just traffic?”

You can confidently prioritise actions that will move the needle
