The Placement Officer will be responsible for facilitating job placements for students, developing relationships with employers, and guiding students in their career development. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment or career services, with a passion for helping students succeed in their professional journeys.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential employers to facilitate job placements.
- Assist students in preparing for interviews and provide guidance on resume writing.
- Organize and conduct placement drives and career fairs.
- Track and report placement statistics and student progress.
- Collaborate with academic departments to understand student skills and areas for improvement.
- Provide counseling and support to students regarding career options and job search strategies.
Skills and Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in placement services or career counseling, preferably in an educational institution.Strong understanding of job market trends and employer expectations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using online job portals and social media for recruitment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Skills Required
