Job descriptionBuild automation workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, n8n Design and maintain backend APIs / services in Python or Node.js Manage vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Qdrant) Build data pipelines for finetuning, evaluation, and analytics Run experiments for STT benchmarking, prompt tuning, call quality scoring Analyse call logs at scale to improve agent performance Build monitoring dashboards and automated evaluation pipelines Mentor & guide junior engineers Drive AI architecture decisions end-to-end Collaborate with product, infra, and customer teams for rapid iteration Lead the AI engineering pod and grow into a Head of Engineering role 4–10 years of total experience Deep hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI / Anthropic / HF) Strong exposure to LangChain / LangGraph Experience with n8n automation Strong Python or Node.js engineering fundamentals Solid understanding of prompts, structured generation, and RAG Experience with vector DBs and API-driven architectures Familiarity with real-time conversational AI or event-driven systems Experience with LiveKit or Plivo Knowledge of orchestration layers, async systems, Redis Exposure to MLOps / model monitoring Prior experience in early-stage startups Hands-on builder with a strong execution mindset Loves experimenting with LLMs, agents, and automation frameworks Comfortable making architectural decisions Thrives in high-speed, zero-bureaucracy environments Ambitious to grow into Head of Engineering with larger equity ownership Strong communication & problem-solving skills Competitive salary Meaningful ESOPs (equity) at early-stage pricing Performance bonuses Opportunity to take on a larger equity stake as you grow into Head of Engineering Build the future of enterprise voice AI Direct founder access for rapid execution Work on cutting-edge real-time AI (LLM + STT + TTS) Culture of ownership, experimentation, and speed Equity upside as Caller.digital scales internationally

Role Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Data Science & Engineering Lead with strong experience in LLMs, automation frameworks, and AI-driven backend engineering.
You’ll work directly with the founders to drive the architecture, experimentation, automation, and scaling of our voice AI platform.
A fast-track pathway exists to become Head of Engineering along with higher ESOP allocation .
Key Responsibilities 1. LLM Engineering & Agentic Workflows
- Architect, build, and optimise LLM pipelines (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama)
- Develop advanced memory systems, retrieval flows, and structured output agents
- Work with real-time STT → LLM → TTS loops (LiveKit, Cartesia, Soniox, Deepgram)
- Improve latency, accuracy, and cost efficiency
