Python Principal Software Engineer

Role : Python Principal Software Engineer

Experience : 12 to 18 years

Work Locations : Ramanujan IT City, Tharamani, Chennai & MindSpace Hi-Tech City, Madhapur, Hyderabad

Work Model : Hybrid

Time Zone : 3PM to 12AM IST (Both the way cab will be provided)

Responsibilities :

1. Strong experience in Solution Architectture.

2. Building efficient server-side applications in python (flask, Django, etc.)

3. Integrating with external systems using Restful web services

4. Peer code review and coaching junior team members.

5. Help design and implement functional requirements.

6. Build efficient back-end features in Python.

7. Responsible to loading data into databases – managing databases.

8. Responsible managing GitLab CICD for the project.

9. Manage testing, unit test cases and bug fixes.

10. Prepare technical, architectural documentation.

11. Deploying solutions to test environment and elevating the solution to prod environments.

12. Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements.

13. Solve technical challenges by debugging while writing code.

14. Ability to do code profiling.

15. Ability to quickly produce prototypes and proof of concepts.

16. Ability to present to leadership and articulate complex technical scenarios.

17. Taking ownership of Modules and Features.

18. Mentoring and technical solutions ambiguous technical challenges to the team.

19. Ability to estimate story point for a given task / feature / module.

20. Ability to convert business requirement to technical requirement.

Qualification :

1. 12+ Years of expertise in development in Python.

2. Excellent knowledge and experience in Algorithmic coding, Design thinking and fundamental Data structures

3. Experience in building rest web services.

4. Extensive experience in SQL or NOSQL.

5. Solid experience as Python Developer.

6. Experience with Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).

Preferred :

1. 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud (GCP) or Azure.

2. Experience in JavaScript, Nodejs framework, CICD is a plus.

3. Some experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud (GCP) or Azure and REST API.

4. Knowledge around Pandas and NumPy is a plus.
