Location : Bengaluru, India

Experience : 5+ Years as a Techno-Functional Consultant in the Real Estate / Construction / Contracting industry

Qualification : Bachelors in IT, Engineering, or related field; Masters in Computer Science or relevant domain preferred

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in digital transformation for a high-growth organization in the real estate sector.

Role Summary :

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP (Finance & Operations) System Engineer to drive ERP implementation and optimization across project-centric operations in real estate and construction. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Project Management & Accounting module, with hands-on experience aligning ERP with real-world construction workflows.

This is a techno-functional role requiring deep understanding of ERP systems, construction project lifecycles, and financial control within the Projects & Contracting domain.

Key Responsibilities :

ERP Implementation & Support :

  • Lead configuration and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O for real estate and construction use cases.
  • Customize and deploy solutions aligned to Project Management & Accounting, Procurement, Inventory, Fixed Assets, and Finance modules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into ERP functionalities.
  • Serve as Level 2 / 3 support for ERP-related issues and post-implementation troubleshooting.

ERP Configuration & Customization :

Implement and manage modules including :

  • Project Management & Accounting : WBS, budgeting, cost tracking, retention, variation orders.
  • Procurement & Sourcing : RFQ, subcontractor management, vendor evaluation.
  • Inventory Management : Construction materials, warehouse transfers, site tracking.
  • Finance & Accounting : Multi-company and intercompany transactions, VAT, guarantees.
  • Customize approval workflows, user roles, and security hierarchy.
  • Integrate project milestone tracking with invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • Systems Integration & Automation :

  • Enable integration with :
  • Zoho CRM (lead to project handover)
  • SharePoint / DMS
  • Banking portals for automated payments
  • Power BI for dashboarding and executive insights
  • Drive automation in subcontractor billing, retention release, escalation handling.
  • Business Process Optimization :

  • Partner with internal teams (Finance, QS, Procurement) to map, streamline, and digitize project workflows.
  • Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and BOQ standardization across projects.
  • Drive alignment between ERP workflows and construction contract governance.
  • Training & Documentation :

  • Train key user groups (PMs, QS, Finance, Procurement) in ERP best practices.
  • Develop and maintain user manuals, SOPs, and test documentation.
  • Governance & Compliance (Preferred) :

    Ensure compliance with :

  • Contract standards (FIDIC, NEC)
  • Local tax and regulatory requirements (VAT, WPS, DLD / TAS, Naqodi)
  • Cybersecurity and ISO standards (9001, 27001)
  • Maintain strong audit trails and data integrity for project-related transactions.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications :

    Certifications (Preferred) :

  • Microsoft Certified : Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant Associate or Solution Architect
  • Experience :

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementations and support.
  • Mandatory domain experience in construction, real estate, or contracting.
  • Technical Expertise :

  • Strong functional and technical understanding of F&O modules.
  • Experience in ERP customization, configuration, and integration.
  • Ability to bridge business needs with system capabilities.
  • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to work cross-functionally in global teams.
  • Attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
