Job Location : Mumbai – HO (Andheri office)
Reports to : Manager-Internal Audit / Head- Internal Audit
Qualification : Qualified CA (Passed out in 2025)
Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to ensure a focused strategic Internal Audit relates to taxes and compliance. The job role would be to audit the statutory compliance and business accounts. Prior Exposure and experience of measuring Internal Audit effectiveness will be an added advantage.
Key Accountability Area
- Plan and execute internal audit assignments in accordance with the annual audit plan and defined audit methodology.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices.
- Conduct audits across business functions, including financial, operational, compliance, and IT areas.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit workpapers and reports.
- Identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and areas of potential risk.
- Recommend practical, value-added solutions to enhance internal controls and improve operational effectiveness.
- Assist in follow-up audits to ensure timely implementation of agreed-upon corrective / preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain positive working relationships with auditees and stakeholders.
- Provide support for Enterprise Risk Management
Technical / Functional Competencies
Knowledge of internal audit procedures, including planning, techniques and methods involved in conducting audits.Knowledge of accounting standards, Procedures and ComplianceAbility to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports.Ability to maintain current knowledge of developments related to business matters of interest to internal audit, particularly legislation changes and developments as they affect business and new auditing techniques and practices.Be computer literate and have experience in the preparation and analysis of audit data through computer aided audit tools (ACL, spread sheets, database tools)Open to travel- 20%Behavioral Competencies
