Job descriptionKnowledge of unit testing frameworks (pgTAP, DbUnit). Experience with PostgreSQL extensions (PostGIS, pg_stat_statements, TimescaleDB). Hands-on with backup / recovery , HA , and database security . Familiarity with ETL tools (Airflow, Talend, dbt) and streaming tools (Kafka, ActiveMQ). Understanding of CI / CD for database deployments.

Job Description : Primary Skills :
- Expertise in PostgreSQL (schemas, functions, triggers, views, procedures).
- Strong SQL query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with execution plans , indexing , and data modeling .
- Knowledge of transactions , concurrency , and isolation levels .
- Integration experience with Java / Python applications.
- Exposure to cloud PostgreSQL (AWS RDS / Aurora, GCP Cloud SQL / Spanner).
- Experience in database performance improvement and migration from legacy DBs.
- Proficiency in shell scripting and familiarity with Elasticsearch .
