About the Job

IDS is seeking highly skilled AI Prompt Engineers to enhance our AI-driven consulting services. In this role, you will apply advanced prompt engineering to develop optimized AI interactions for client projects, including enterprise migrations, financial modeling, and automation workflows. This position offers an opportunity to innovate with generative AI in a fast-paced consulting environment, contributing to high-impact deliverables for clients in technology and finance sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Design, test, and refine prompts for large language models (LLMs) to generate accurate, actionable insights from complex data sets, such as cloud deployment strategies or investment portfolio analyses.

Collaborate with solutions architects and developers to integrate prompt-engineered AI outputs into client presentations, reports, and automation tools.

Analyze AI model performance, identify issues like hallucinations, and iterate on prompting strategies to improve reliability and efficiency.

Automate prompt evaluation processes and support AI tooling for team projects, ensuring seamless integration with platforms like Automation Anywhere, AWS

Develop and deploy AI agents using frameworks like LangChain or AutoGen, configuring them for autonomous task execution in enterprise workflows such as data processing or client query resolution.

Integrate prompt-engineered AI agents with existing systems, including APIs for cloud services (e.g., AWS Bedrock or similar), to enable multi-agent collaborations for complex simulations like financial forecasting or application automation.

Evaluate and fine-tune AI agent behaviors through iterative testing, incorporating feedback loops to mitigate errors and enhance adaptability in dynamic business environments.

Manage multiple client deliverables simultaneously, communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and presenting optimized AI solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

AI & LLM Knowledge : Strong understanding of LLMs, including architectures, capabilities, and limitations such as hallucinations; experience with models like GPT series or similar.

Prompting Techniques : Expertise in methods including zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, and persona-based prompting to elicit high-quality AI responses.

Programming : Proficiency in Python for API interactions, script automation, and output analysis; familiarity with libraries like OpenAI SDK.

Data Analysis : Ability to evaluate AI outputs, detect patterns, and measure prompt effectiveness using metrics like accuracy and relevance.

AI Tooling : Hands-on experience with tools such as OpenAI Playground, LangChain, or model APIs; bonus for integration with enterprise platforms like Automation Anywhere.

Additional Skills : Deep knowledge of generative AI applications in business contexts, such as financial planning or cloud architecture; excellent communication and presentation abilities for client interactions; proven multitasking in consulting or project-based environments.

Education and Experience : Bachelor's in Computer Science, AI, or related field; 3+ years in AI / ML roles, with a focus on prompt engineering; certifications in AI preferred.
