Transmission Line Designer

We're hiring a Transmission Line Designer to join our team in either Mumbai or Bangalore. In this role, you'll be responsible for the drafting and design of transmission lines, handling projects of varying complexity. You'll work independently but with guidance from engineers, preparing detailed drawings and ensuring all designs meet compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a proficient CADD designer with experience in the power industry and a strong commitment to quality and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and Design : Prepare engineering drawings, including Plan Profile , permitting, and assembly drawings. You'll use CADD systems to create both rough sketches and detailed work, incorporating markups and feedback from engineers.
• Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with the engineering team to review, prepare, and redraw designs. You'll also participate in technical meetings with clients and communicate any potential design issues to the team.
• Project Management : Take full ownership of your assigned work, handling multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively. You'll ensure that all final designs are compliant with industry regulations.
• Documentation : Prepare material lists and other necessary reports to support the engineering team.
