Role Overview

As the QA Lead, you will lead a team of 5+ QA engineers, working closely with Engineering and Product teams to maintain the highest standards of product quality. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves defining QA processes, establishing best practices, and driving test automation across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end testing of data pipelines, dashboards, and platform features.
  • Set up and lead the QA function, defining best practices and test frameworks.
  • Design, manage, and review test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Champion test automation and performance / stress testing initiatives.
  • Mentor and groom junior QA engineers to enhance their technical and testing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality releases.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of overall QA experience with strong automation expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX / Linux operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of QA Automation and Performance / Stress Testing.
  • Experience in creating, documenting, and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting language for end-to-end automation.
  • Experience with AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design and test strategies.
  • Exposure to databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
