Location : Bengaluru
Experience Required : Minimum 12 years in large-scale food production, preferably with Compass Group, Taj SATS, or similar high-volume culinary environments
Responsibilities
Strategic Kitchen Operations
Lead end-to-end operations of the central kitchen serving multiple outlets or clients
Design and implement scalable production systems for consistent quality and efficiency
Optimize workflows using lean kitchen principles and automation tools
Culinary & Quality Excellence
Standardize recipes and production methods across cuisines and formats
Ensure adherence to international food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, FSSAI)
Conduct regular quality audits and taste panels to maintain excellence
Team & Talent Management
Manage a team of 100+ kitchen staff including chefs, supervisors, and support crew
Drive training programs focused on hygiene, culinary skills, and operational discipline
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Procurement & Cost Control
Collaborate with procurement teams to source ingredients at optimal cost and quality
Monitor inventory, wastage, and yield to maintain profitability
Implement ERP systems for real-time tracking and reporting
Cross-Functional Leadership
Liaise with logistics, supply chain, and outlet managers to ensure seamless distribution
Partner with R&D and marketing teams for new product development and launches
Represent the kitchen in meetings, audits, and strategic planning sessions
