About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Additve Manufacturing Engineer to manage end-to-end production at ProtoLab. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with multiple additive manufacturing technologies, production workflows, and troubleshooting of 3D printing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage 3D printers across technologies : SLA, SLS, FDM, and DLP .
• Prepare and optimise files for printing using Materialise Magics , Voxeldance , and other slicing software.
• Perform part orientation, support generation, nesting, and print optimisation for efficient production.
• Modify and prepare CAD files in Fusion 360 or SolidWorks for DFAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing).
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and timely job execution.
• Maintain detailed production logs, QC reports , and process documentation.
• Manage machine maintenance , identify breakdowns, and co-ordinate with OEMs.
• Handle basic repairs and troubleshooting independently.
• Knowledge of vacuum casting processes is an added advantage.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain a clean, organised production environment.
