Job description

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures on SAP BTP for large digital transformation projects.
  • Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps and strategies for customers transitioning to Native Cloud environments using Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Mentor junior team members and guide clients on SAP BTP best practices.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of state-of-the-art architecture for SAP applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry / On-Premises environments.
  • Decide on hybrid SAP architectures, their interfaces, and shape solutions on the business technology platform.
  • Engage, influence, and improve best practices, guidelines & principles related to the SAP BTP based on experience, self-discovery & trends.
  • Ensure sustainability of solutions by designing and defining integration patterns, solutions & migration paths.

Requirements and Qualifications :

  • Proven SAP implementation experience with in the CAPM / BTP.
  • Certified SAP Business Technology Platform architect (Preferred).
  • Practical experience with DevOps and CI / CD operations.
  • Good understanding of BTP Security Authentication & Authorization Provisioning.
  • Broad development or general technical experience in both SAP and non-SAP related frameworks, design patterns, development paradigms, and programming languages.
  • Experience working with HTTP-based API guidelines / protocols such as REST, SOAP, and OData.
  • Deep understanding of BTP core services and solutions such as data management, analytics, artificial intelligence, application development, extension, integration, and automation.
  • Ability to integrate on-premises S / 4HANA using SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Cloud SDK (Java / Node.js) with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry), SAP CPI Development, Groovy Script Development.
