Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Backend Lead to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of strong backend development experience and the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems . This role requires hands-on expertise in Node.js, PHP, WordPress, MongoDB , along with experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .

As a Backend Lead, you will be responsible for technical execution, architectural decisions, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend applications and RESTful APIs using PHP, Node.js, and MongoDB
• Build and implement scalable and reliable backend solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services
• Ensure performance, quality, security, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and refactor or fix legacy codebases
• Lead and mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices
• Contribute to backend architecture, system design, and technology decisions
