Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Tooling and AI Automation Engineer (SDET-2 / 3 ) with 5+ years of experience to join our Automation team—not in a traditional application development capacity, but as a specialist focused on building internal tools, test intelligence platforms, dashboards, and AI-driven test enablement frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom frameworks, tools, and utilities in Java to support automation, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to enhance internal testing infrastructure .
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Java code following OOP and design patterns.
  • Build reusable API testing libraries, data generators, reporting tools, and integrations .
  • Implement automation solutions for UI, API, and backend systems.
  • Optimize frameworks for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java development (not just test scripting).
  • Strong knowledge of OOP principles, collections, multithreading, and concurrency .
  • Experience with design patterns and building scalable systems.
  • Hands-on experience with JUnit / TestNG, Mockito, REST-assured, or similar frameworks .
  • Experience with API testing, automation frameworks, and CI / CD tools (Maven / Gradle, Jenkins, Git).
  • Working knowledge or experience with Mabl, TestRigor, or any AI automation tool.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and database validations .
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write efficient algorithms.
