Position Summary :
You will be part of and establishing a team of data protection and privacy professionals focused on advising the Firm’s clients on privacy initiatives covering several regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA etc.
Your key responsibilities will include :
1. Leading privacy implementation projects covering acts / regulations such as GDPR and DPDPA.
2. Work closely with clients and advise them on designing / updating their data privacy program and strategies.
3. Reviewing and executing activities such as performing DPIA, RoPA, drafting DFDs using Viso, conducting Privacy Trainings, Drafting Technical and Organizational Measures (TOMs), Data inventory identification, drafting / updating procedures documents in line with respective privacy acts / regulations.
4. Ensuring expected work product quality standards are achieved and maintained.
5. Support, guide and address queries of team members across projects.
6. Keep track of project progress and proactively take remedial action and coordinate / manage client / stakeholder expectations.
7. Evaluating and assessing client’s existing data protection and privacy practices to suggest insights and actionable recommendations to improve their programs.
8. Leading data privacy and protection audits.
To excel in this role, you need :
1. Good presentation, written and communication skills.
2. Experience in designing and executing data privacy and protection programs.
3. Detailed understanding of several privacy regulations / acts such as GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA, PDPA, PIPEDA, PDPL, NIST frameworks etc. and the ability to translate requirements from these regulations / acts into contractual requirements, technology requirements and controls which clients can implement.
4. Experience in governance, reporting and strong understanding of cybersecurity and privacy concepts.
5. Project Management and Stakeholder management skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications.

You should be a :
1. Postgraduate (PG) like MBA / M.Tech / B.Tech / LLB / LLM (in Law / IT / Information Security) with Relevant Work Experience and Certifications ( CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CDPSE, CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 LI / LA, ISO 42001.)
