AI Technology Officer

About NEXA AI LabWe build practical AI that drives growth and efficiency for businesses. Our platform powers WhatsApp and web agents, voice experiences, content automation, and deep CRM integrations.The roleYou will own the AI platform and lead engineering to ship reliable, secure, and cost-efficient AI products. You will define standards for LLMOps, data, security, and compliance, and mentor a high-performing distributed team.Responsibilities- Set the AI platform architecture and roadmap, deliver secure and scalable services.- Establish LLMOps, evaluation, and observability to improve quality and reduce costs.- Lead product delivery with squads across chat, voice, and CRM integrations.- Implement privacy and security by design, align to NIST AI RMF and ISO / IEC 42001.- Prepare for EU AI Act obligations and UAE PDPL requirements, including cross-border data handling.- Hire, mentor, and grow engineering talent.Core requirements : Experience- 8+ years in engineering, 4+ years leading teams, with at least one shipped AI platform or large-scale AI product.- Proven LLM product delivery, including RAG, tool-use / agents, evaluation, and guardrails.- Cloud-native architecture at scale, Kubernetes, IaC, CI / CD, observability.Tech depth- Models : OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, Llama, vLLM or Triton for serving, quantisation and caching know-how.- Retrieval : Vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or Elasticsearch, chunking and re-ranking patterns.- MLOps / LLMOps : MLflow or Weights & Biases, prompt and dataset versioning, batch and online eval, lineage, feature and knowledge stores.- Orchestration : Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect, async workers, event buses.- Data : Modern data stack, data contracts, PII handling, encryption in transit and at rest.- App layer : TypeScript or Python services, API design, OAuth, webhooks, webhook security, streaming APIs.- Integrations : WhatsApp Business API, telephony, HubSpot CRM and CDP, web chat, CMS.Governance and compliance- Familiarity with NIST AI RMF (Govern, Map, Measure, Manage), ISO / IEC 42001 AI management systems, EU AI Act timelines, and UAE PDPL cross-border rules.Soft skills- Excellent stakeholder management, clear written design docs, calm under ambiguity, and a bias to ship.Nice to have- Speech, vision, re-ranking, and HubSpot or WhatsApp Business API experience.Benefits- Fully remote, flexible working, growth path to CTO for the group.How to applySend your CV and a short note describing one AI platform you shipped, including scale, latency, and cost outcomes.
