Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join our team in New Delhi, India. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle database management and will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and integrity of our database systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Perform regular database backups and recovery processes.
  • Monitor database performance and tune SQL queries for optimal efficiency.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard database information.
  • Collaborate with application developers to design and optimize database schemas.
  • Provide support for database-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and features.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and other high availability solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL / SQL programming.
  • Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with backup and recovery strategies in Oracle.
  • Understanding of database security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
