Role Description

As the Senior Food Technologist , you will own the entire product lifecycle from initial concept research to final regulatory sign-off. You will be responsible for both innovation (new formulations) and quality / cost optimization (existing SKUs), ensuring every product is best-in-class and fully compliant.

Responsibilities will include :

• Research market trends, consumer needs, and competitors to identify new product opportunities.
• Develop and finalize new product formulations that are effective, evidence-backed, and cost-efficient.
• Optimize existing products by tweaking formulations and reducing costs without compromising quality.
• Source and onboard reliable vendors for both new and existing Products.
• Ensure all raw materials and finished products meet strict quality standards.
• Manage FSSAI compliance, licenses, and other regulatory requirements.
• Take full ownership of product labels, ensuring claims, ingredients, and regulatory details are accurate.

The right candidate for this role should preferably have :

Experience : 2+ years experience in product development, R&D, or formulation, ideally within the nutraceutical, functional food / beverage, or supplement industry .

Skills : In-depth, proven knowledge of FSSAI regulations and strong familiarity with Drug / Pharma licensing requirements.

Mindset : Exceptional project management and cross-functional communication skills. A true passion for the wellness space and creating products that genuinely improve healthspan

Compensation : Upto 8 Lpa
