We workcloselytogether with stakeholders across several Business Areas (BAs), Truck Divisions (TDs), and Group Functions(GFs).While the BAs are responsible for driving the business, the TDs provide research, development,purchasing,manufacturing, and assembly. Within Volvo Group, the GFs own the Group agenda, provide strategicdirection, andhave global responsibility in group-wide functions such as IT, legal, compliance and security.

What you will do

The Digital Forensics Investigator is responsible for conducting digital forensics-based investigations withintheDigital Forensics and Investigations team, and the greater Cyber Defense Center (CDC).

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage digital forensics investigations including collection, preservation, examination,analysis,and reporting.
• Ensure that all digital forensics and investigations-related activities comply with industry best practices, legalandregulatory requirements, and internal policies and standards.
• Support the response to cyber security incidents, providing technical expertise and support for digitalforensicsand investigations activities.
• Collaborate with the SOC, IR and CTI teams to form a virtual Digital Forensics and Incident Response(DFIR)team.
• Collaborate with other teams such as security and cyber risk, to ensure that digital forensics andinvestigationsprocesses are aligned with broader cyber security goals.
• Investigate different forms of electronically stored information (ESI) to support legal, compliance andprivacyteams pertinent to e-discovery efforts.
• Support the development and implementation of a cybersecurity threat analysis structure of commonattacktechniques to evaluate an attacker's spread through systems, platforms, or a network by collectingIndicators ofCompromise (IOCs) from malicious activity to strengthen incident response and threat detectionefforts.
