About The Role
Test Yantra is seeking a dynamic and experienced
SAP Practice Head to lead, scale, and strengthen its SAP service line. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for building a robust SAP Centre of Excellence, driving business growth, ensuring delivery excellence, and owning the overall performance of the SAP practice.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on SAP foundations (as a Developer, Tester, or Functional/Technical Consultant), experience across multiple implementation and rollout programmes, and recent leadership exposure in building or managing SAP practices within mid-to-large IT services organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap to establish and scale the SAP Practice at Test Yantra, identifying priority modules, industry verticals, and growth opportunities while developing differentiated solution offerings and reusable accelerators.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects and programmes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
- Build and develop a high-performing SAP team by mentoring, and retaining top talent across functional and technical domains. Establish structured competency frameworks, training programmes, and leadership pipelines to support long-term growth.
- Provide architectural and strategic guidance across SAP landscapes, including ECC and S/4HANA environments, ensuring best practices in integration, migration, performance optimisation, and governance.
- Implement strong governance models, delivery frameworks, and quality benchmarks to ensure operational excellence, resource optimisation, and consistent client satisfaction.
- Engage with CXO-level stakeholders and enterprise clients to understand transformation roadmaps and position SAP as a strategic enabler of digital transformation initiatives.
- Own the P&L for the SAP Practice, including revenue targets, margin management, cost optimisation, and overall financial performance. Drive sustainable revenue growth through new business acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.
- Lead pre-sales and solutioning initiatives including RFP responses, estimations, proposals, and client presentations. Collaborate closely with sales teams to build a strong SAP pipeline and convert opportunities into successful engagements
Skills & Qualifications
- 12–16 years of overall SAP experience with strong early-career hands-on exposure as a SAP Developer, Tester, or Consultant.
- Proven experience across multiple SAP implementation and rollout programmes.
- Demonstrated track record of building or leading SAP practices within mid-to-large IT services companies.
- Strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes and enterprise transformation programmes.
- Experience managing revenue targets, P&L ownership, and practice-level financial performance.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and business development capabilities.
- Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.
- Willingness to work full-time from the Bangalore office
