Role Overview
We are seeking highly skilled DC ACI L2 / L3 Network Consulting Engineers (NCEs) with strong expertise in Cisco Data Center technologies to deliver end-to-end design, deployment, and operational support. As part of Cisco's Customer Experience (CX) Organization , you will be a key technical expert working directly with customers, ensuring high-quality delivery and support across Data Center infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Cisco Data Center technologies, solutions, and services for enterprise and telecom customers.
- Act as Cisco's face to the customer, building trusted relationships while managing customer expectations.
- Provide hands-on design, deployment, and troubleshooting for DC ACI solutions.
- Conduct root-cause analysis at the network and application level, producing technical reports with corrective and preventive recommendations.
- Collaborate with Cisco HTOM, HTTS CSEs, NCEs, SEs, and SDMs to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze customer environments, identifying trends and enabling proactive problem management.
- Lead weekly technical review cadences with customers, ensuring alignment on issue resolution and progress.
- Provide technical governance during escalations and complex situations, ensuring reduced time to resolution.
- Deliver quarterly reports highlighting trends, corrective action plans, and recommendations.
- Handle multiple customer engagements remotely or on-site, ensuring consistent delivery standards.
Technical Expertise Required
Cisco Data Center (Nexus) Expertise (5–8 years) :Nexus Series Switches (2k, 3k, 5k, 7k, 9k)Cisco UCS portfolio and Data Center environmentsCisco ACI, DNAC & ISE : Strong hands-on deployment and operational experience.Routing & Switching Protocols : OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, VXLAN, FabricPath, vPC, STP, Multicast, OTV, QoS, First Hop Redundancy.Security & Networking Concepts : Solid understanding of TCP / IP, data center security models, and storage networking services.Problem-Solving : Ability to analyze and resolve highly complex issues under pressure, with innovative solutions.Industry Best Practices : Knowledge of Cisco's leading Data Center technologies and deployment methodologies.Desired Skills
