Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business and analytical requirements. The ideal candidate will translate complex business needs into efficient and scalable data structures, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and performance across multiple platforms. This role also includes mentoring junior team members and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for OLTP systems, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to translate business requirements into robust data models .
• Perform data profiling, analysis, and validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Optimize existing data models for performance, scalability, and efficient storage and retrieval.
• Establish and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and governance frameworks .
• Work with data engineers, architects, and business teams to develop and implement scalable data solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation , including data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, and metadata.
• Mentor junior data modelers , promoting a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Utilize industry-standard data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER / Studio, or equivalent platforms .
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in data modeling, big data, and cloud data platforms.
