Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior US IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of recruiting IT professionals for US clients across various technologies, handling the complete recruitment lifecycle, and managing client as well as candidate relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for US clients, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Source candidates through job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn), social media, internal database, and employee referrals .
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future requirements.
- Conduct initial screening interviews to assess technical skills, communication, cultural fit, and salary expectations.
- Coordinate with Account Managers and Delivery Managers to understand client requirements and priorities.
- Negotiate rates, compensation packages, and contract terms with candidates.
- Ensure compliance with US employment laws, immigration (H1B, GC, OPT, CPT, EAD, TN, US Citizens), and client requirements.
- Handle contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent placements .
- Build strong relationships with consultants, ensuring smooth onboarding and redeployment after assignments.
- Mentor junior recruiters, provide training on sourcing strategies, and share market intelligence.
- Achieve monthly / quarterly hiring targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–8 years of proven experience in US IT recruitment .Strong knowledge of US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and work authorizations .Hands-on experience with major US job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, TechFetch, LinkedIn Recruiter).Excellent negotiation and closing skills .Ability to work in night shifts (EST / CST / PST time zones) .Strong relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.Ability to handle multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Proven track record of achieving high placement ratios .Prior experience in leading a team of recruiters .Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, IT, or related field.
